GROUND BEEF ROLLS!
📝 Step-by-Step Instructions
- Mix the Beef Base:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix gently with clean hands until all ingredients are well incorporated. (Avoid overmixing to keep the beef tender!) 🥣
- Shape the Beef Rolls:
- Divide the seasoned beef mixture into 10 to 12 equal portions.
- Roll and shape each portion into a tight, sausage-like log (about 3 to 4 inches long).
- Wrap with Bacon:
- Take one slice of bacon and wrap it tightly around each beef log in a spiral, completely covering the meat.
- Press the ends of the bacon firmly to stick, or secure with a toothpick if needed. 🥓
- Sear in the Skillet:
- Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Place the bacon-wrapped beef rolls seam-side down in the hot pan.
- Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, rotating the rolls every 3 to 4 minutes so the bacon browns and crisps evenly on all sides and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). ⏲️🔥
- Rest & Serve:
- Transfer the crispy beef rolls to a paper-towel-lined plate to drain excess grease for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Remove any toothpicks, stack on a serving platter, and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces like BBQ sauce, garlic aioli, or warm cheese dip! 😋✨
